Uroeze is a medication that helps maintain normal pH in a dog's bladder. It is ammonium choloride which makes the bladder more acidic so that struvite crystals can't form.
I've used this succesfully for Teddy, however, after we stopped usage of the product the struvites returned so he is back on it. I am guessing he will be on it for life, but am waiting for the vet nutritionist to make that determination.
RC might be better for your particular dog; for ours, Uroeze is and not too many vets now about it so I always tell people to ask since it is cheap and easy to use. |
