raindrop I am so so sorry for your loss. Please feel comforted to know that your little raindrop is not suffering anymore, and that she is at rainbow bridge playing with lots of other puppies. Many hugs sent your way. Rest in peace, sweet little raindrop. |
Darlene, I am so very, very sorry about Raindrop. You were such a devoted Mommy to her and loved her so much. She is not suffering anymore. Rest In Peace, Raindrop. |
My heart goes out to you. May you take comfort in knowing how much you loved Raindrop and how much she loved you. "Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened." Raindrop will live forever in your heart |
I have been following this thread and I am so sorry for your loss. |
I'm so sorry, Darlene. My heart goes out to you. I know how much you loved her.:( |
I'm so, so sorry. I can feel your love for her and my heart's just breaking for you. RIP sweet Raindrop. |
I consider myself pretty strong but I just cried on your loss. I am so sorry and know you are hurting. I hope the following will ease your pain. Luke 12:6 Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. This verse directly speaks to God's love for His creation, even the small and inexpensive birds sold for pennies in the ancient markets. God cares about the suffering and life of every animal in his creation, and loves also the pet's owner. God remembers each moment of a pet's life, and delights in the beauty of each part of his created world, no matter how small. |
Oh no Darlene! I'm so very sorry ... my heart is breaking for you. I can't begin to imagine the pain you're in right now... you tried so hard to get her the help she needed, and took such good care of her and loved her so much. I really thought she had more time... I'm so sorry. RIP Little Raindrop. Your Mommie loves you and misses you, and will keep you in her heart forever. |
I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Raindrop. |
Sending condolences and prayers, your way...May God comfort you, in your time of loss, and heal your broken heart... |
Dear Darlene and Raindrop. Deep peace of the running wave to you. Deep peace of the flowing air to you. Deep peace of the quiet earth to you. Deep peace of the shining stars to you. Deep peace of the infinite peace to you. Bless you both. Darlene I am so sad to hear of your great loss. |
I am here. I didn't mean to push everyone away. My heart is just broken, and I can't stand it. I don't know what to do. The love I have for her is so great. I have never loved that much. When I first got her, she was so little, that I slept with her on my chest. I could feel her heart beat, and she could feel mine. It was like we became one. As she got older, she slept beside me. I had her in my arms every night. I know in time, I will learn to accept it, and life will go on. I will never forget her. But for now, the pain is almost inbearable. I have been trying to stay off the computer, as I just sit and cry. Thank you all who prayed for us. I really do appreciate it. Darlene and Raindrop |
Darlene, Please take all the time you need away from the computer. You need time to grieve, that is understood, just know we'll be here for you when you feel up to coming back, and in the meantime, many of us will be thinking of you and praying for you that God may ease your pain, and sending positive energies and healing thoughts your way... Kathy |
I am so sorry for your loss. :( There is nothing we can say to take away your pain, but I hope you can take comfort in knowing we are all feeling for you. I will pray for you. Again, so very sorry this happened. |
Oh my gosh, I am sitting here bawling. I really thought this baby was going to surprise us and pull through this. Believe me I know how bad you are hurting. The 2 I have lost I hurt so bad I could hardly breathe. Nothing and no words will help but you just have to grieve and get through it and know she is at peace now. I too believe that God cares so much for them. If He is mindful of every little sparrow that falls you know he loves our furbabies too so much. RIP sweet little darling. Your mommy loves you so much. |
Darlene, you need to grieve and your heart needs to heal. This will take time. You are in my thoughts and prayers, and I'm sure all of YT too. I wish I could say something to make this easier for you, but I am at a loss for words. I know how very much you loved Raindrop and she loved you. Sending hugs to you. |

Oh, I am just now seeing and reading your post. I am soo sorry about the loss of your little Raindrop. I know there are no words that can give you comfort right now. In my belief system, you will see her again. Rest in Peace little Rainbow and wishing peace to you too Mommy. |
Darlene, you haven't pushed anyone away. We understand the grief you are going through and that is something that will take time. Please know that we know how hard it must be for you. You loved her better than anyone else could have loved her. She is safe now in God's hands and you are left to grieve her, but please remember that we are here to talk if you ever need us. |
Just heard of your loss Darlene, and am so very sorry. Know that you gave Raindrop a lot of love and made her short life a happy one. |
Just reading this thread and am sitting here crying my eyes out. I am so very sorry for you. My heart is broken for you. I could feel the love you had for her reading your posts. There is nothing to say to take away the pain except to know that we are grieving with you and understand and are here for you. |
I'm terribly sorry for your loss. RIP Raindrop. |
Darlene I am so so sorry for your loss. I cried when I read your sad post. Please believe (at least this is what I believe) that Raindrop will be waiting for you on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge. I am praying for you. Raindrop loved you so much. You are such a Great Mommy. RIP Baby Raindrop. |
I am so very, very sorry for your loss. Sending hugs and deep sympathy.... |
I am so sorry. I know that Raindrop felt the love that you had for her and it made her life so happy. Bless you for loving her so much. Hugs... |
I'm still here Oh where do I start. I am so very Thankful for all of you. I am starting to get better, missing Raindrop, but holding my own. One of my other dogs, Rosie, a yorkie had puppies July 2010. She had 5, all healthy. 3 went to homes right away. 1 went to my breeder, as I used her male. The last one was a little girl. When Raindrop passed away, I was hurting so bad, I gave her to the breeder. I told her she could sell her. I pushed family, friends, away. I love my other babies, and hugged them alot. It just didn't seem to fill the void in my heart. Raindrop was small and would sleep with me, sit on my lap while on the computer, and go for rides. Oh how she loved rides. Next thing you know, I found myself wanting a baby. I was wanting to hold a little one again. My breeder lady, is also a friend. I talked with her, and she said, come on over. I didn't sell your little girl. I knew you would want her. What a Blessing! I named this little sweetheart "Amazing Grace" as she is such a blessing. She's very tiny, and needs that "mothering" touch. She loves to ride like Raindrop, she sits on my lap, and sleeps with me every night. I am learning how to put bows in her hair, and she loves to dress up. Christmas was sad, but 2011 is starting off pretty good. I will have to post a picture of her. She is now 6 1/2 months old, and weighs a little over 3 lbs. She needed me, and I needed her. A match made in Heaven. I cannot thank you all enough for just being here for me when I really needed someone that would understand. Love you all, Darlene and Gracie |
Hi Darlene - Good to see you back and with good news about Gracie. I'm happy that Gracie is helping you to heal. Hope the new year will be a good one for you!! Valerie |
Thanks Valerie. Gracie reminds me of Raindrop. Not in looks at all, but both of them are small and and in need of that motherly attention. Rosie is 6 lbs, and we can really play with her. Same with Candy (dachshund), Romeo(Yorkie/Poo) and Rocky (yorkie). He's 5 lbs. The littler ones need to be watched more, and protected. I have to watch that I don't step on her, etc. Someone asked me if I would breed her. I said, You have got to be kidding. I would never breed her. I did my Rosie once. That's enough for me. |
I had tears in my eyes reading about Raindrop and Gracie. I had a very special little Yorkie who was given to me by the breeder. Gracie was very beautiful, and she had the most loving, sweetest disposition. The breeder had already registered her as Amazin' Gracie and had planned to breed her, but Gracie remained very tiny and was much too small to breed. She was very attached to Gracie, and she wanted her in a home that she would be given lots of love and care, so she asked us if we would take her when she was six months old. The name was absolutely perfect for her so we kept it, and I can't express how Gracie changed our lives. I hope your Gracie brings you the love and happiness that our Gracie brought to our lives. My deepest condolences on the loss of Raindrop. I know how much it hurts and how much you miss her. Nothing will ever take away the love you have for her. I hope Gracie helps to heal the pain you are feeling. |
Oh my. Now I have tears in my eyes. Thank You so much for the encouraging words. Everyone on here has been so nice. I think Gracie will help me alot. She has already, and I am sure she doesn't even know how much. Your story sounds very similar. Bless you, Darlene |
