Checking in on Betty Boop, glad to hear she is doing better today. I know how hard it is to get them to go on a leash after they've had their freedom.
Hope you new fence gets up quickly, that will be such a big help to you both.

Just a thought -- what about a soft basket type muzzle when she goes outside to keep her from eating no-no's until you get your fence up? I know it may sound HORRIFIC to some, but that may be a compromise with your husband so that he doesn't have to walk her on a leash AND to keep Betty Boop safe. If it fits properly and is only on for potty detail, just maybe it will work.
I'm not so sure about a muzzle, but thanks for the suggestion. I don't even know where I could get one. I'll see how walking her on a leash does. It's really not much fun for either one of us. I have always enjoyed going outside with Boop and sitting in the grass and watching her play and run.

You were right about the antiemetic shot working and it worked really fast, too. I think she is feeling almost like her old self tonight.

I agree with this.
The vet said she had ulcerative colitis. I'm not really sure how he knows that. I guess years of experience. He also used to raise yorkies for many years, so he is familiar with their sensitivities. He has put me on the process of elimination in order to see if he is correct in his diagnosis. He started with the leash walking when going outside.

Ahhhh...poor little Boopster...and poor you! I'm glad to see she is doing better and I hope and pray she doesn't get it back. It wasn't that long ago that she had this, right? Bless her heart! There have been times when mine have gotten sick like that and the vet figures it is something they ate outside. It seems Faith is always chomping down on something.

Get well wishes to Betty Boop. I still smile every time I hear her cute name.

Thank you, Connie. It was around a month ago or so. Too soon to have it again! I always watch her like a hawk outside and never let her go out alone. It's just that when she picks up something, I can't get her to drop it. It's a game to her!:rolleyes: The leash is doing the trick. I want my fence finished!! Shouldn't be that much longer.

Faith is growing into such a beautiful young lady. Absolutely beautiful! Of course, Maddie and Libby are beautiful, too!
