Dudley's not feeling well... Sat morning he turned his nose up at his treat and his food. I swear, next to me he lives for eating:D He kept pacing the house circling, getting in prayer position for about an hour or so, then i finally gave him some pepcid in creame cheese. After an hour he got sick and i did see the cheese in his vomit, but not the pepcid:confused: He never got diarehea, just continued pacing and prayer position for most part of the day and about 3 in the afternoon he came to me w/ his fox in the mouth wanting to play:rolleyes: After a little bit of play he ended up eating and seemed to be back to normal....Sunday was a normal day This morning he's back to not eating and pacing:confused: You can hear his stomach "gurgling" like bubbles are in it? Any thoughts? |
The five min it took to post the above, he seems "comfortable" curled up on the sofa w/ his eyes closed:confused: |
This could be a simple thing, but since it has gone on since the weekend, even with breaks in between, I would err on the side of caution and have the vet look at him. Being hunched over is a sign of discomfort and personally, I would want to know exactly what it was. |

I agree I would have the vet check him out. I hope he feels better soon. |
sick baby I am not a vet, but my boop gets irritable bowel very easily..........its common in the yorkie breed...he gets the symptoms you described...but he saw the vet many times.............and stools were checked many times also....The only thing I can suggest is to call your vet asap..............my prayers are with you and your baby.....................boops mom:aimeeyork |
Thanks!! When I left the house this morning he seemed okay....Hubby was home at 12:30 and his food bowl was empty, so DH gave him his lunch, which like always, was gone in 5 min:rolleyes: Said he was back to acting like DUDLEY:) I'm leaving to go out of town Friday, if it happens again tomorrow, I'll have him down to the vet, so i can go on vacation knowing my lil man is "A OKAY";) |
It could have been just as simple as him going too long between meals. It sounds like he's doing pretty good. |
