Lethargic Hi I tried to find my other thread "Off To The Rescue" but just couldn't see it. My story has some weird twists today. First the hubby of the lady with the yorkie wanted the dog back and the mother put in a nursing home. It was to much of a strain not only on the yorkie but on them and their marriage. I don't know how they found one over night but they did. I have the feeling it had been in the works for sometime. Anyway The woman called and told me what was going on, could she have Elmo back so the three of them could work on being happy again. I agreed under one condition that I bring him and come in for a coffee. When I got back Andy whom I had the feeling wasn't feeling well this morning anyway, is sick to his stomach , Now laying in his bed almost lethargic. I'm not liking this one bit and going to take him to the vets. I will keep you all posted PS: Elmo's home was fine and Grandma free, You could tell he loved his family and they loved him. It all worked out for the best. |
Wow- that's a weird situation. Thank you for being there for Elmo when he needed you. I have to agree though, they didn't find a nursing home over night- Alzheimer patients need specialized care and the spots for them are limited and expensive. I'm sorry Andy isn't feeling well. Please let us know what the vet says. |
Glad it worked out. You can find nursing homes pretty quickly these days. When my Dad was sick we had to find a nursing home quickly and found out that they are pretty competitive and negotiable on rates. We had no idea. |
Vet said Andy is so used to being alone he had himself all worked up to the point he was exausted, His tummy was upset but he has not thrown up sinse this afternoon, I was just extremely worried. I know (I hope) they can't catch things within hours of being around a new dog it just seemed fast. In fact the past couple days has been really fast and eventful. Thanks for being here I appreciate it |
