Hope your daughter's yorkie is doing well at home after having the surgery. Now's the hard part, keeping the baby from being too active. |
doing well Yes, Ellie is doing well. She resents not being able to move around as normal, but realizes it is not a good idea when she gets too adventuresome. They are keeping her in her bed, crate or baby playpen. This is what they did after her LP surgery. We had to crank out the pumpkin to keep her poos soft as the pain meds were starting to be a problem in that area. Thanks for checking on our girl. Marcy |
That's so sad she had that happen. I hope she continues to heal well.:) |
Happy to hear Ellie is doing well. She will be good as new very soon! They recover so quickly. |

I hope she's doing well and wish her a speedy recovery. Sandy fell down and broke the same bones last month. He had a surgery and has had the cast on for the 7th week now. |
Oh No I hate to hear about these little ones breaking! Glad Sandy is coming along well. Ellie is not that far along but does seem to be doing well. Thanks for the best wishes. |
So glad surgery went well..and by now I am sure she is on the road to recovery. For the posters who would have opted NOT to have the plates/screws.. just be assured that the surgeon choses the treatment based on the type of fracture. NOT every fracture will heal properly with just a cast.:D |

Thankfully, the leg was saved. I have a surgeon here who is just amazing. Rookie needed a bone graft and pin, plate and screws; but he is now fine! :) |
