bumps/behavior please help! Hi all, I'm hoping to get some advice on my male Yorkie who is nearly 2. About two weeks ago I noticed a small bump on the inside of his leg. We found a flea on him and treated him and home so I presumed it was just a bite. Anyways, Preston is quiet personable, meaning he is very odd and strange on the best of days! Now though we have noticed that he is hovering low to the ground running around, really sooky/ fidgety and hiding almost in bizarre places (shower, behind bags and tonight he was in the closet!) I have noticed however that we are getting a few more of these bumps on the inside of his leg and he is constantly at them, and I can tell it's really irritating him. Has anybody else had this happen to there dog before? Any feedback would be great, thanks.' xK Please note that he is booked into the vet for Monday. |
I would take him to the vet. He is clearly in pain if he is hiding in bizarre places. If he has fleas they may do some sort of dip or have you do it. Poor baby, I hope he feels better soon! |
He has had fleas but no longer, and I think it is just an allergic reaction to them. I dont think it is pain either, because when I touch the area there is no reaction and he isnt squirming etc, just an irritation for him which is placing him out. I don't know what a dip is? Can someone clarify this for me? |
