I am so sorry that Ellie is not doing well again. She will be in my prayers. You 2 have been through so much. |
sending warm healing thoughts to Ellie and you. |
Oh how sad! It sounds like Ellie has a great doggie Mommy and Daddy and an excellent surgeon. For that she is blessed. Hope her recovery goes well. |

Just an update. Ellie has already adjusted to her cast again- in spirit - and in stability. We meet next Thurs with 2 decisions as of yesterdays' consult on phone with surgeon. Either try 4 wks of cast and see if fusion will take this time - "roll of dice - some pups respond second cast some never do". Or- surgery on July 2. Pray that when we meet him next Thurs we are clear on the right decion to make for our sweet baby girl. THANK U! |

Awww! She looks very comfy though. Prayers and hugs for Miss Ellie. Hang tough baby! |
Poor little sweetie. I do love her pink cast with the little accessories on it. That's so sweet that they do that. Praying for wisdom, guidance, and peace as you move forward in making your decision. |
AAI Mom too My heart goes out to you and your baby, I cant Imagine going through this again myself. I will pray everyday for you both. Hugs to you both, May God give you strength. Thankfully my Shelby is doing well after her AAI surgery. She still and always will have residual problems we work with, stability, etc and a few congentital defects we were not aware of until this happened. All I can say is I dont know what I would have done without the support of my AAI group. We had our surgery done 1 1/2 years ago by Dr Axlund at Metropolitan Hosp here in Ohio. What a wonderful wonderful neurosurgeon and person. |
