?? Not sure what happened?? I went to go put a bow in Precious's hair this morning to find a knot on her head (as a child would have an egg if he hit his head on something) and a tiny scrape accompanying it. It doesn't look infected or anything and she doesn't seem to be bothered by it unless I rub it. It's not the same place where I put the bows, it's a little further behind. I'm not really sure how it happened so I'm not really sure what to do about it. I'm a stay at home mommy so she is ALWAYS under my constant supervision and there've been no accidents even in playing with the kids. Should I just watch it and see if it goes away?:confused: |
Maddox had the EXACT same thing happen a few weeks ago. It didn't seem to bother him at all. It was right next to the back of his top knot, but not part of it - I never did figure out what caused it. I put just a dab of neosporin on the tiny cut and kept a close eye on it. He was all healed within a couple of days. That was my experience - I think you should use your judgement about taking her to the vet. |
Yes, it's exactly behind the top knot! How odd. Well I KNEW it wasn't anything else bcs she's too tiny for me to let her out of my sight for a second. I was wondering about the Neosporin thing, I'll do that! |
I think I would just watch her for signs of a problem, she probably bumped it while playing. Maybe she slid into the wall, Sofia will do that if she is running to fast and cant quite stop in time. |
She probably bumped her head on something. Charlie is always bumping his head on something. Yesterday he bumped it on the door; another time on a dresser drawer. Or maybe she got some kind of bug bite. If it's not bothering her, I'd just watch her. Use Neosporin or Bacitracin on the cut and watch for signs of infection and to see if the bump is going down. |
that happened to my oldest Chanel years ago - I found out she had scraped her head on a nail sticking out on my back fence - it didn't seem to hurt her I only saw it when I had her in the bath and was shocked - hers was a little bump but also a scrape that had bled some - same place as you said She had very long hair so it was hidden Needless to say - I always checked my fence from that day on for nails that came loose - it could have been so much worse - |
