He said her knee feels tight today. She was under anesthesia when he examined her today, whereas the other day she was wide awake and fighting. He went back to thinking her problem is still in the hip (hip displasia) and wants to wait as long as possible, but the FHO surgery will be needed eventually. He said at that time, he may go ahead and examine the knee too surgically, if pain meds and rest don't give her some relief. So again, we wait and see. | So, this is not an orthopedist who was going to do the surgery? He has been doing a consult with one; but has the ortho actually seen her? Honestly, if she were mine, I would take her to a board certified orthopedist for a second opinion. |
