sniffles and face rubbing Lately Hannah has been sniffling. It doesn't seem to bother her. She sniffle and then go back to doing whatever she was previously doing. Could it be her allergies? She also rubs her face on the floor/mat. What could be causing this. What can I do to make it better? |
Yes, could very well be allergies. Does she do this all day long, or is there a time during the day that she seems worse? What food is she eating? and how old is she? |
She could also have seasonal allergies; they can be very bad at this time of year. Face rubbing is a sign. Sometimes Ringo's (my Westie) gets so bad that he has to be on steroids - usually once in the spring and again in the fall. We manage them on a bad day by giving him an OTC Zyrtec. He takes a whole one per his vet, for his size but a yorkie probably would not. We also watch his diet because he has skin allergies as well. I'm sure your vet can give you some suggestions. Good Luck. |
sounds like food allergy what are you feeding? also has she had a bordatella intranasal recently? |
