Poor Carlo, surgery can be tough on these older guys but I am sure he will flourish surrounded by all the love that is in your home. He is obviously a special guy. |
Awww poor Carlo. Sometimes those pain patches really put them into outer space. I bet when the meds wear off a bit, he will be brighter. He is such a magnifent pupster! :) Prayers that the biopsy report is a good one this week. |
THank you. Todau, hje is just lating down, but will get up to go out. He will not even look at food so I hope taking those large pain patches off help. |
So happy to hear he is home, slept well, is going outside, maybe he just needs to let those pain drugs out of his system and then his appetite will return.! Sure hope the patho results are good news. but the most important thing he is home surrounded by all he loves and that loves him. |

Today we managed to get him to eat in the afternoon a little. My wife made him some lean hamburger and rice. He did not care for chicken. Also, got him to take his antibiotics, but he is smart, and knows if they are being hidden. He has not taken any water today, but is still urinating like a Horse. He is sleeping, but gets up easier now, and moves better to go out. |

Thank you. I will be sleeping on the couch again with him downstairs. I think my wife is enjoying having the bed to herself! Hope he is better tomorrow. He is now snoring on his bed |
OH what a sweet boy Carlo is! Sorry to hear about what he's going through but so glad he's home and in such good hands :) And that Maxine just cracks me up...too cute. By the way, you should NEVER reveal a lady's age - she might not take kindly to you doing so! Prayers for dear Carlo to be feeling much better soon. |
Sleep well tonight Carlo, Steve and family. Hope tomorrow brings another few steps back toward normal. He's been thru a lot and a little R&R is to be expected, but hope he gets back to eating. Hang in there! |
He had a good night, much better than mine on the couch! This morning, he got up quite fast to go out, and he is moving real well. Hard to tell he had surgery the way he is moving now. His tail is also wagging real fast again. He ate, drank water for the first time since he has been home, and got his medication in him by cutting them in quarters...Now the wait begins for the Pathologist report. He looks real good! He is one strong dog. Maxine is actually being nice to him. |
That's wonderful news, Steve!! :D Give Carlo another hug from me and my gang. Oh, and one for Maxine - she's such a good big sister. :) |
