Pray For My Bells (Bella) They are keeping her at the vet hospital til Monday for Pancreatitis. She has been really sick. But the dr said she will be ok (i hope). She was dehydrated and she was vomiting and had the poops. They had an IV in her. They said the groomer could have given her treats for a reward that set it off cause her diet at home hasnt changed and she has always been fine. I have just cried all day cause i could tell when i went back to see her she wanted me to bring her home. She kept nudging my arm like she was saying " ok mommy im ready to go home." Those ppl probably think im crazy left at eleven and was back up there at two thirty. But thats my baby. She gets treated better than my skin kids sometimes. Shes my bed buddy. Im just worried about her. She hasnt ever had to stay anywhere by herself away from home. :( |
I will be say a extra prayer for Bella, It is so hard when they have to stay at hospital. |

Praying for Bella. Does your vet have someone there at night? If not, what my vet let me do when Cali had HGE is take her home at night and they left the IV port in and I took her in in the mornings to spend the day for treatment. I also only live 5 minutes from the 24 hour ER vet so if anything did happen I could get her right in. If not she is in the best place for her to get better. |
I am pulling for you and your little girl. Out Yorkie Maxine had 2 bouts with it, and it was no picnic. Since she was put on Iams Low Residue she has not had another bout. Too bad the groomer gave her that treat. Sometimes that will do it, or fatty foods. I sure hope she gets better fast. I know how you are feeling right now, but you have a bunch of people here pulling for you and your dog. |

Thank you everyone for the prayers. Yes they are techs there to keep an eye on them. I also live about five minutes from our vet. Im going in tomorrow to see her ill keep updates. Ill have to try iams low residue she already eats that brand. I have done nothin but sleep this afternoon cause ive cried so much my eyes were burning. I have felt so bad.. |
Anyone that has/had a pet ill knows exactly how you feel. She will bounce back, and then a lot of it will be about the food. For us, that Iams low residue works. Maxine is almost 13, and going real strong and we thought we were going to lose her at one time to the Pancreatitis. |

update.. I went to visit Bells yesterday and they let me take her outside and walk her (to see if she would poop). She was so excited to see me. I spent about an hour and a half with her. We had no luck with the potty she just tinkled everywhere. There was too much going on a stage was set up right in the next parking lot so it was pretty loud. They were having a street party. People kept walking over asking questions because she had her leg wrapped up (IV port). She would act like she was gonna tear them up, she does that when she thinks they get to close to me. So she got her spunk back. Believe it or not she likes to go potty in private lol. So anyway she looks like she is doing pretty good. I didnt cry so Im doing better. I get to pick her up tomorrow hopefully. The dr has been so great. She was packed and closing at twelve, but she stopped what she was doing and came back to talk to me. When I brung her back in and put her back in the kennel her head went down. I know she wants to come home bless her heart. I miss her so bad. |
I'm glad she's feeling better. She'll be just fine. Just be strict on her diet and she'll be going strong. Mine likes to potty in private, too. They must be self-conscious.:D I'm sure it was tough on both of you to leave her there, but tomorrow will be here soon and you can have your little lovebug back.:) |
