Hi, I dont want to scare you, but if she hasnt urinated in two days, she most definitely might be getting dehydrated. Im sure it hurts like crazy for her to get up....that poor baby girl:( Have you been hand feeding her and offering her water by hand? I really think she should be examined again. You might also have to physically help her stand to go to the bathroom. If she is dehydrated her stooll will become hard too and very dificult for her to pass. |
omg I'm so sorry your little was injured so badly. I will keep you both in my prayer's. Welcome to YT. You will get support here just be patient, other's will see this thread soon and possibly be able to help you with your questions. In the meantime I would do what the vet stated. Good luck and will pray for a complete recovery. |
If your girl is drinking ok for you, you can add mineral oil to her water to keep her stool soft, until her injuries heal also. Mineral oil doesnt a taste so it should not interfere with her fluid intake. |
I am really surprised to hear this. I always thought that a few pelvic fractures needed surgery...I guess it is based more on the location?? If she is not urinating, this is an emergency. Please take her back to the vet! |

Hope your little one has a quick recovery. It is always so hard to see them in any pain or discomfort. Hugs. |
