The inside of her ear is a little warm, but I have thought she had a temp before and the doctor said she was normal.... and that time her whole body felt heated up.

She sounds little congested so I'll call the vet in the morning and take her in. She sounds like she did when she was sick, but I was really hoping she wasn't. This is really making me feel like a bad mommy :(

It just makes me cry every time she gets sick :( What on earth will I do when I have children? lol

Bless her little heart! Let us know what the dr says. You've done really well with her. Maybe she just needs to outgrow whatever this congestion is she keeps getting.

You will be soo used to all this with her that you will be one of those really calm mothers that lets everything roll off your back :D

I don't think that sounds like a reverse sneeze, definitely more like a wet cough.... best to see the vet again... What anitbiotics has she been on previously?

Ha! I sure hope so... I am normally calm, but when my baby doesn't feel well I get very upset.

To top it all off, I burned my eye with my contact lens again this morning so I wound up calling into work anyway... Gives me time to take her to the vet asap then, lol. Otherwise I was going to have to wait until this afternoon.

Bailey was just on Clavomox because he had an infection in his penis. He HATED the tasted. I crushed it up but he would eat around his food. I had to crush treats to encourage him to eat that portion...little stinker...LOL

Olive hated it, too, but she had the liquid kind. I had to put it in the syringe with Children's Benedryl because it tasted yummy! lol

So, she showed virtually no symptoms as of this morning so I contemplated even taking her in, but being a good Mommy, I called the vet and asked what I should do. They made an appointment for me right away and told me to bring her in. The doctor examined her and said it's just allergies and I should give her Benedryl (which I had already done). She got a cortisone shot and she seems much much better. MOMMY IS SOOOO RELIEVED!!!!

wow, i didn't know dogs could get allergies... you learn something new everyday...LOL
