The issues that bother me the most are the onset of seizure activity being so close to the spay surgery, the increasing frequency and severity of the seizures, and the inability of the seizure medications to control the seizures.
The best food to feed her at this stage of her life would be a mid (@20%)
level protein, and maybe a limited ingredient diet. Do not feed or water her or store her food in plastic bowls or containers. Plastic can leach out harmful chemicals that can cause seizures, among other things. The mid-level protein diet will help to not overload her liver, should that be her problem, and if not, it is a high enough level to support her body's nutritional requirements. Also watch the level of protein in her treats. |
