Kobe is staying overnight at the Vet...Please Pray for him!! I recently wrote a post about Kobe being sick...he was scratching like crazy, had welts and redness, then started vomiting. It came and went...so I assumed he was better. :( Today he was trying to poop, FOREVER...he was straining really hard and at that point i knew something was wrong with him. When some did finally come out, most of it was VERY HARD like rocks and the rest was very soft. It was also smushed in her fur near his bum. I tried to clean him up the best that I could and then kept took him to an emergency vet . Well they inform me that he has a fever and that (even though they didn't test him) he doesn't seem like he's having an allergic reaction, BUT that he's very lethargic and dehydrated. She wants to take bloodwork, xrays, and keep him for 24 hrs. Hopefully it's nothing serious. :( |

I hope Kobe is better soon. Conner was sick last week. We were both sick the same day. I had to take him to the vet while I was sick. He recovered more quickly than I did. |

Thanks everyone! :) Well obviously I was a nervous wreck and I couldn't sleep. It didn't help that the vet NEVER called me to give me an update! :thumbdown I picked him up an hr ago and they told me that he was just dehydrated and that he had irritation in his tummy. So is that a tummy ache??? :confused: They gave me antibiotics to keep him on for the next five days. He seems better; he's ate a little and has more energy. :p |
I hope that he continues to get better. I am dealing with the same issues right now my little one had to spend the night at the vet for iv's. I think its going to be a very long night. |
