My Yorkie is acting very strange , has yours ever done this ??
 
Not sure what is up with my Teddy, I left him for a couple of hours, and he is acting scared and skittish. He's walking around with his little tail tucked under his butt, and looking around all scared. Has this ever happened to anyone ???
He has done this in the past if he did something wrong like poop or pee in the house. And I looked everywhere, and I didn't find anything. I just feel really bad, and wish I new what was going on with him....

Check to see if he's got some poo stuck in the hair under his tail, around his anal area. Soph acts like you're describing when she's got a poopy butt. I try to keep the hair trimmed pretty close in that area but sometimes she'll have an especially soft poo and it'll get stuck.

Also check all electrical cords for teeth marks, is he a puppy ?

Kaji did this when I started working. It was his "you don't love me anymore" routine. It could be your baby just missed you and thinks he did something to deserve "abandonment." He gets over it for a while then starts all over again. He'll shake and make himself look real pitiful so I can comfort him and not leave. It worked for a while but I learned it's all an act. Just another thing that proves these little ones are smarter than we give them credit for!:D

I checked...and there's nothing there. I don't no what to do .

Well I was thinking the same thing. I went to the park, and didn't take him. I did find out from my son that he got into the bathroom, and had a toilet paper party. I'm wondering if he ate some maybe, and had an upset tummy.

I didn't even think about that, as I never see him around cords. But I did check, nothing out of the ordinary. For some reason he just keeps looking at the front door, all scared. Like if he's expecting someone. Maybe he is mad at me for not taking him to the park. But he's been doing this for almost 3 hours now.:confused:

Yes, I was thinking the same thing. I'm keeping my eye on him. And will make an appointment for him tomorrow morning. :(

Castor Pollux wakes up from dreams in weird ways. he'll wake up growling or sometimes wake up scared (climbing all over me)
Maybe your baby had a bad dream... Castor Pollux snaps out of it in 1 or 2 minutes... if your dog is still acting weird then my post isn't helpful and I'm sorry

This would worry me too as I believe he is tring to tell you something in his own way. He could be hurting, or something could have happened that scared him terribly and he is looking to you for comfort. Is it at all possible that a stranger was in your house. Your son's friend, or otherwise?

My dog has done this several times. Once was when he heard large dogs chasing deer. When there is a weird animal close by, like a bear. I think something must have really scared him, but if he isn't better tomorrow, I would take him to the vet to be checked.

Teddy is back to his old self. This morning I took him out to potty, when I got home from work, he was wagging his little tail :D. So I took him to the park, we jogged, then he pooped, and pooped and pooped. Like if he was backed up or something. When I was gone yesterday, my husband & son said he got into the toilet paper, and it was everywhere ! So I'm thinking he might of ate some, and had a hard time digesting it :eek:. My poor baby, well all that matters is heees back:animal36.

It's always a little scarey when we don't know what's wrong with our furbabies. If only they could talk.:)

Oh I'm so glad he's back to his own self. When you are away, does he have the whole run of the house? If so, he might feel safer if he's kept in just one room (dog proofed) and some people use a kennel if it's just for a few hours. Anyway, thanks for the update!

I know right, I was talking to him yesterday...wishing he could talk back to me lol. It was scary, I love the full of life little boy he usually is. And was really worried about him. Thanks for your concerns. I love this website :)

Yes,Teddy is usually confined to a pin when no one is home. But I was running late on taking my daughter to softball practice. So he had the master bed room & restroom to his self. Wont be doing that again ;)

He probably ate quite a bit of toilet paper. Mine with eat kleenex, toilet paper, towel paper, newspaper, and who knows what all else. As careful as we are, he always manages to get a hold of something that he is not suppoed to have.

All these posts are so true! I am glad everything worked out. Penny gets poop stuck under her tail and does this. She has bit a cord and done this. Once she had an upset tummy and did this too.
