And yes, I have a serious problem with ingredients coming from other countries when we have enough farmers here that can supply this stuff and our farmers have been hurting for many many years now. Buy from home first!! To imply that the french love their pets more is kinda silly, what does that have to do with anything, really??!!



Here you are saying that people are feeding "garbage" to their pups. Now, when they respond, you say you are being attacked?

You get more bees with honey......your posts would do nothing to inform me that my dog food needed to be changed because I find them to be tinged with arrogance; and when I see that, I don't find the information to be something I want to read.

I really didn't mean to attack you, I'm sorry if my post came off that way. I know the company was started in France, my bag says "product of the USA", and gives the address.

If the reason you don't like the product is because it's not manufactured in the USA, I think you could be wrong. Remember too, the OP is not living in the USA, she lives in Africa. They have plants all over the world, what's wrong with that, we have members from all over the world. The company says it does not use any imports from China, where are you getting this imformation that they import ingrediants from China? You know if you post something here, 10 more people read it and think it's true, they start posting and after a while everyone thinks it's a fact. I just think if you make claims you should back them up with proof, not just linking someone's blog page.

I would cut out the chicken and meat ... especially the meat! Their tummies cannot handle this.

Hi Ladyjane. I must say thanks for the help. I tried this and Lienkie now is eating like a normal good puppy should. No more goodies and treats in her food and she is actually eating the kibbles, except when training her i will give her the steamed chicken but only small peaces as praise. I think I'll keep her on the RC because she kinda likes it now and i can't actually see something wrong with it. My niece is giving it to her 3 year old yorkie from the beginning and she is absolutely gorgeous. Hair is in very good condition and so is her teeth. I had a look on the bag last night in search of the harmful ingredients and couldn't really find any. Like the callulose(sawdust) nope nothing there, i guess they extracted it. Thanks again to everyone for all the comments. Appreciate it. :)

Soooo...just when I think I can keep my mouth shut....er...my fingers still...there they go again :rolleyes::):rolleyes::).

Just want to say a few sumpthins. Please keep an open mind, all. Food/what we feed our kiddos incites a lot of passion - it's pretty cool, actually. Nutrition is one of my favorite subjects too, in fact I love it.

However, if someone even implied that what I was feeding my beloved boys was, um, garbage - that would feel pretty judgmental.

Passion can be powerful (full of power)...so please just try to have more awareness in how we all channel it. Be kind and compassionate.
