Glad he is doing better. It just breaks your heart to see them sick or hurt. |
So happy your new puppy is feeling better. It is so hard when they are ill , and I just hate that helpless feeling . Glad he is ok :) |
Thanks everyone for all of your kind thoughts. I can only pray that is all he will put me through for a long time. I gave him a bath and he is back to normal. Now I can go and get on the boards about potty training, fear of the crate and looking at all these grown fur kids not believing he will ever be that big with that much hair!;) |
Oh but he will, enjoy these puppy moments, they are precious gifts. Good luck with the crate training and potty training. Now Jasper, listen to your mom...she really does know what's best for you. |

Do a google search on Dr Jean Dodds vaccination protocol.....And please don't allow them to give any lime, or corona or leptos vaccination....it could kill your pup. No rabies until 6 months of age. Until your pup has received his full compliments of shots don't take him to public places......or let him come in contact with unvaccinated animals. |
I am very glad and relieved to hear your little Jasper is doing better...it is so hard when they get sick. I did want to ask Mardelin about the vaccinations, lyme, corona and lepto....should they just not get them when they are young puppies or does that go for mature yorkies also. I think Biscuit had corona vaccination and I know they gave him a lepto vaccination once since a few dogs in our area died from lepto. Should I avoid these vaccinations when I get my new puppy? :animal-pa |
Glad he is feeling better. Poopy butts are pretty common, as others have said trim hjis butt hair and that will help. When ever I see a puppy trying to go but nothing happening, I know what trhe problem is and they get their butt washed. It's never pleasant but you get used to it. I agree on the over vaccinating, although I heard it worked the other way, that the mothers immunity suppresses the vaccine so it does no good. I would check out other veterinarians in the area. |
