Collapsing trachea I'm pretty sure my baby has collapsing trachea, she is 3 years old and is a toy yorkie. I find out for sure tomorrow if this is what she has but I'm almost positive its what it is. In the meantime, is there anything I can do for her when she has an episode? She had one this morning and I feel so helpless! I just try to keep her calm and rub her back. Is there anything else I can do to shorten the episode? She just looks at me with pleading eyes that just kills me to do nothing!! Thank you for any help you can give! Orlynn |
I am so sorry for your baby. prayers are with you. I hope everything turns out ok. |
here is a group that is really helpful with this so i recommend joining CollapsingTrachea : YTNR_COLLAPSING TRACHEA are they doing xray to determine this? did something happen do you think that could have caused it? |

Yes, I am having them do x-rays because I am tired of wondering. I am going to watch the video you sent and look at the link as well. Thank you so much for your help. Your baby is adorable!!! |

You know, after watching the video, I can almost for sure rule OUT ct! Tabitha has more of a reverse sneeze but somtimes her tongue and gums turn blue, that hasn't happened in quite a while but I'm still going to have it checked. Maybe she has a doggie cold, she has been sneezing for the last week, like 5-6 times in a row. Maybe her sinus' are inflamed, I guess I'll know tomorrow. At least I can sleep a little easier tonight! Thank you soooo much! |
