You are right. The sonogram was done today as well as an aspiration.......The radiologist was conferring with Dr. Hawthorne as Lissette was leaving. I think Lissette mentioned that she was meeting with Dr. Hawthorne on Monday.

yeah you are right went and re-read it - candidae is a yeast over growth but usually you see signs through the skin with yeast issues and yeast is fungal correct?

Yes, but not all fungi are yeast.

Yes, and I am quite sure he is not talking about candidae. There are so many fungal infections....Valley Fever is caused by a fungus.

I am sure they will get to the bottom of this and, if it is fungal, they will identify it and come up with a treatment plan.

Valley Fever.....scarey.......all kinds of nasty things happens to one.

And you're right, as I said before Dr. Hawthorne does not have an ego and will call in the best Specialist to make sure Lola has the best treatment going for her.

but with valley fever they treat with steroids ????? have a friend on allergy group with valley fever that is nasty stuff - do they have that in Texas as thought that was in Arizona and Palm Springs CA issue mostly desert areas

East Texas....I have a friend who placed a yorkie out there and the pup contracted valley fever.

ok pretty soon we will not be able to move anywhere lol - ohio out, palm springs out, arizona out, east texas out - lol as my grandma wanted to take dd out to arizona to see how she does with her allergies but one i do not want to be without my girl and two do not want to risk valley fever lol - how sad is that i consider moving depending on my dogs lol - no ohio as do not want to do heart worm or flea meds - guess we will just have to stay in southern california - darn

I just looked it up.....it is in Southwest Texas...not Southeast. That makes sense. I could not imagine it being here and certainly have not heard of it here.
