Throwing Up White Foam Hi All, Kujo is 7 months, and he was fine all day, ate fine, drank fine, and for the past few hours he threw up white foam (looks like human spit) about 3 times. He is kind of just lounging around now :( Could this be anything serious or just an upset stomach?! First time dog owner so im nervous.. I cant take him to the vet because its 10PM here...! Suggestions..? |
Kimbo did that a few months ago. I FREAKED out and rushed him to the vet as soon as they opened in the morning. They kept him there for the day to observe him. After 6 hours or so he was back to his old self. The vet released him when he started to eat and drink again. |
puppy throwing up Belle does the foamy throwing up when she's been really running and playing hard. She also throws up yellow bile once in awhile if she gets really hungry. Then she's fine. I think their little systems are different. |
white foam Abbey is 1 yr..8.5 lbs and she would do this at times...mostly waking up in the am I started feeding her a bit more at dinner and its stopped |
Hi All, So kujo started getting better last night. All day today he was back to himself. I fed him boiled rice & hamburger meat all day. He was lively and being himself, and just about 30 minutes ago he threw some food...?! What could be wrong with him?! He was fine all day?! |
hamburger is too high in fat for most yorkies. Chicken is much better for them. |

Hamburger meat has alot of fat in it. High in fat foods can cause pancreatitis. Like Lioncross said, plain boiled chicken is better for them. |
I know this is off topic but i have one of the higher insurance policies through ASPCA, and 2 times ive gone to the vet with him and they didnt reimburse me. Apparently it didnt fall in the category. Is their a pet insurance that i dont have to pay and then get reimbursed? Sort of like Human insurance, you pay a deductible each time @ the vet?! |
