Something is wrong with Chloe! I noticed she was having trouble standing up and that she was shaking... and when she does stand up she acts like she doesnt want to move... Something is very wrong....:( |
also i think she has diarrhea... |
If she cant stand up give her a drop of nutri cal and get her to the vets. this is what my baby did before I lost her. you dont want nothing to happen to her so take her to the vets hun. |
I gave her some nutracal just now but really theres no vets open til morning around here:( |
could she of got a hold of something, chocolate/ medicine/pills, any kind of poison's? hurt her self jumping? it could be any thing even low sugar. how big/old is she? I would look google ER vets that stay open 24/7 in your area. I would get her in there ASAP. I dont mean to scare you but I know they can go down hill fast. Ill keep her in my thoughts and prayers. that's what i thought happened to my girl. I thought maybe she had hurt her back. the vet thought so to and treated her as a back injury. and sent her home. she wasn't getting better and we rushed her to another er vet and he said it was in her head he thought tumor. she was falling over couldn't stand very good and could not walk. she was fine just hours before. |
How is she acting now? how long has she been like this? can she walk at all? hows her eyes. is she staring off or holding them shut. as in pain? look at her gums, are they pink? if not shes needs seeing now. |

I dont know if any of those places are close to you, I just googled them. Thank you my gilr was 5 lbs too, healthy all her life she was soon to be 5. |

does she have lp in her back legs? they didnt come out of of socket did that? |
why does she act like shes choking or having trouble breathing? you can look but I think if that was the problem she would be pawing at her face to try and get it out. its hard to say with out looking at her and seeing how she acts.but you can open up her mouth and look in. |

Ok well when I went to go get ready to take chloe to the vet. I noticed on the pee pad that one of them had passed a HUGE worm. Im assuming it was Chloe because all of my other dogs poops seemed fine. Anyway I took her there and told him everything that had happened and he said He thinks that it is just round worms and since they eat nutrients and protein that she was just weak... I asked him if he was sure thats all it was and he said yes he thought so and then he wormed her and sent my three other dogs some wormer to give. he said if things were still the same in a few days bring her back. I really hope its nothing more than this because he didnt do any tests at all nor did he take a stool sample because he said her butt looked irritated. So im hoping thats all it is and its nothing serious or life threatening. Thank you so much yorkieshadow for the advice & kind words last night... I was a wreck! |

worms? I would of never gussed that from the way you say she was acting. But Im glad that thats all it was. how is she feeling today? walking? |

I know! I didnt expect that either until i seen the worms. I hope that is all it is... i mean he didnt run ANY tests. That is just what he thought. Since her bottom was irratated too. She slet a lot of the day but after she woke up she seemed a lot better... walking around...wagging her tail and she ate a treat or two. I was relieved. |
