Please don't let the vet talk you into these ones. Some will try. L/D canned or Royal Canin Hepatic LS 14 kibble is best for liver problems. |
Sasha looks great today. I just kept her in her cage and let her sleep. I gave her some more lactulose last night and she pooped a good amount this morning. After a couple of phone calls, my mom and I got the VCA animal clinic to send a prescription for L/D hills diet to a vet clinic near my house. Petsmart mixed up the food types and don't even sale L/D!! Sasha is doing very well and I would like to thank you al for your advice and support.:) |
I called the LA place where they do scintigraphys and it costs 395. |

Has Sasha started eating the L/D? How does she like it? Many dogs do not like it so you may need to bake it or microwave small portions of it at a time to entice her to eat it. |
She has been doing well on the L/D. But, her poop looks weird. Its soggy and she's pooping a lot. I haven't been giving her lactulose because of this. Is this normal? Should I continue to not give lactulose? |
