Badly colapsed tracia I'm new to Yorkie Talk. I found this site while doing some research on finding help for my little buddy Max. He is a 3 year old toy Yorkie and has been one of the most enjoyable dogs we have had. Unfortunately he has a severely collapsed trachea. He has had exrays and is on all sorts of meds to help his breathing. Does anyone know what the options are for repair of this condition? He can not last with all the meds he is on as it is hurting his stomach. Is there any natural herbs or foods that might help this? I have heard of the stints for opening up his trachea but the vets don't recommend it. Any help with this is greatly appreciated |
:wavey: Hi and :welcome4: to Yorkie Talk!! Sorry your little guy is going through this. I'm sorry I really don't have an answer for you but there is probably someone on this site that may have experience with the same thing or could point you in the right direction. There are a lot of very knowledgeable and caring people here. I will keep your little Max in my prayers.:hands: |
