Yorkie keeps rubbing her nose on the carpet!!! I have a 7 month old yorkie (4.2 pounds) that is currently having problems drinking her water. Every time she gets a drink of water, within seconds, she will start sneezing and the water will come out of her nose. She will then immediate run to the rug and start rubbing her nose on the rug to try and get the water out. The vet recommended getting a bottle of water to hang so that she could lean her head back and drink, but that didn’t work. She still sneezes and rubs her nose. Molly also has seizures. The vet has placed her on Phenobarbital (1 mg two times a day.) I don’t think her nose issues has anything to do with her seizures, but I’m unsure. I’ve been to the vet several times, but we can’t quit figure out what going on. What should I do? Any help would be great help! Thanks |
Try putting her water bowl on top of a phone book, something that is 2-3in off the ground. I would try different heights to see if that helps. Hope she gets better with the seizures! Welcome to YT!!! |
