So good to see that your baby is home and doing well:love: The pit didn't show on the x-ray because it's an organic material, so it sort of blends in. Unless something is metal or plastic, it normally won't show up. Might be time for a trash can that fits under the sink cabinet, or one with a lid. Clever little booger! Thank God that neither one of mine have figured out how to get into the trash!! Don't be too hard on your hubby, it was an accident and now you know that your little guy knows how to raid the garbage:laugh: Stinker!!!! |
Thanks everyone. He's totally back to normal, it's like he's never been sick. I've had to be really diligent on keeping him from running, his sutures start bleeding again. He really got territorial after being away for awhile, he bit me at one point and I grounded him to his crate. I didn't shut the door but I told him to 'go back ot his room' and pointed when he'd peek out again. Finally I let him say sorry, you could just tell he felt badly. He's been better since then. I'm so glad to have my spunky little stinker back :) |
wow and avocado pits are poisonous to dogs too :( yikes poor little one. Yep i had to throw away hot dogs as dh could not control himself. Then he was leaving popcicle sticks on table so had to toss those - like living with a 2 year old. Dex chewed on popcicle stick one day. And this is all after we almost lost our dex to pancreatitis and we paid 10k over the course of a year he decides to give demi a little piece of hot dog saying she is healthy - uh hello so was dex before he almost died :( MENNNNNNNN |
So glad he is ok! No more avocados! LOL |
I can just picture the sweet little guy poking his head out of the crate. :D Glad to hear he\'s back to normal! |
