I hope your Baby gets better soon. I know it can be scary.
On the food I feed Babybear(my guy) Halo(chicken stew puppy) even though is is 4plus years old. He loves it and the pieces are so tiny. Might be very easy for him where he is so small. Halo also has canned food. I get the small bag of food and Petco,Petsmart and other pet stores carry it. It is human grade. So very good.

Thank you all for your posts. It has definitely enlightened me a bit and helped me to stay calm. Here's an update on Mr. Chew:

Since I last posted I tried boiling plain chicken breast and serving it to him but he was only interested in it for a few seconds and wouldn't eat it again. I also got a hold of some pedialyte and began giving him 1ml/cc with a syringe. My question is, how often should I give him this. (He is BARELY drinking his water on his own)

He hasn't thrown up again, and hasn't shown any seizure like symptoms so that is excellent. I purchased some Cesar Puppy Dinner (the chicken and beef in meat sauce) and he seemed to like it enough. I then gave him a tsp of canned plain pumpkin and when he didn't poop after about 1-2 hours I noticed his tummy looking REALLY robust and his whimpering increasing so I took him to the VET (this was at around 4:45 today)

When we got to the vet I had him on my lap on top of folded bath towel and he pooped on it while we were waiting to be seen. It was the most fowl smelling feces I had ever smelled so I knew from that alone that something was wrong. When the Dr. came in she first told me that his blood work results had come back early and it showed his white blood cell count as well as several other indicators we're increased, thus implying he has some sort of infection. Then she took his stool and did a fecal and came back saying he has a high level/number of bacteria in his stool. Which is pointing to him having a gastrointestinal infection.

What I don't understand fully is how that was related to him having a seizure on Friday night, and that is what they are trying to determine. Whether that may have been due to his blood sugar levels being too low that night and possibly sending him into a seizure. Unfortunately because more than one level was high in all his screenings there is no way to pin point exactly what is wrong at this point. They just gave him a high dosage of Amoxi-drops for the infection.

So for now we have more information, but no direct results. :(

It sounds like you are going a great job with Chewie. I'm glad he has such a great mom! Keep up the good work!

I don't have anything cosmic to add, but I noticed that you said Chewie is barely drinking water. Just remember that Pedialyte should not take the place of water. You can also add a drop of Karo syrup to his water, which might make him more apt to drink it and also will help ward off low blood sugar. Try to get as much water into him as you can. :) Good luck!
