Also, that chicken treat from Costco - Waggin Train - there have been many, many, many sick reports all over the net (you can google) - That stuff comes from China :thumbdown - After I learned about all the reports, I returned all my *stock pile* bags of it to Costco and never again buy anything from China :mad:

Hey I was wondering if the vet did any blood work?? If not how can she make a diagnosis that it wasn't something serious???? NOT that want hin to have a problem, but doing labs on a sick vomiting dog is pretty much standard treatment.....

could have swallowed a string or have one stuck under his toungue causing vommiting cats do this do not pull it out!! something could be caught in the stomacht or even the intestine that will not pass it could be bad gatorade will help with dehydration but he does need to go to vet asap post us what happens hope hes ok

OMG!!!!!! I also had a bad experience with the Waggin Tails chicken from Costco!!!! my Maddie had bloody diarrhea for two days!!!! I had to take her to the vet immediately!!! NEVER AGAIN will I buy those.

Does anyone know whats in Waggin Tails Chicken to be causing sick dogs?

My puppy loves the Waggin Train chicken jerky too and didn't have problems with it. I bought her a bag of the Kingdom pets chicken jerky today at Costco and she loved it, but now a few hours later, she's throwing up. I'm watching her right now, since it's 2 a.m. But she's resting. If she doesn't improve, I'm taking her to the first vet that opens. Has anyone heard bad things about the Kingdom pets brand? I just looked at the label and it says 'made in china' so I'm guessing nothing good is in it. I'm taking it back to Costco tomorrow.

Yeah - "Made in China" is bad stuff in my mind, no rules and regs when it comes to Pet Food - So I don't even take the chance :(

Glad to hear Kona Bean is doing better. I LOVE the name. Been to Hawaii twice and I'm addicted. Wish I had thought of a name like that. Too cute!! My nickname for my Coco is Coco Bean.

This just happened to my dog last night and the night before. He pooped straight blood as a result of a Waggin Train product. My personal opinion is that they are using a type of plastic or bone in the product that is not digestable, so it tears the lining in the digestive tract as they try to pass it through. It's horrid. I took the product back for a refund and also lodged complaints with the store (Wal-mart) and the FDA. The FDA said they are fully aware that this company is in violation but it's hard to stop imports. By the way the "treats" I got him were the duck variety so it's all their items that are harmful to pets.
