tail is tucked under, not sure why, but my little mcdreamy appears scared, and wont come close to me. he' sjust hiding. any suggestions. now, last week, my strand of pearls were torn apart, and I THINK HE may have gotten some of them down, but im not sure, i have 2 other dogs. Vet said they wouldnt worry too much, they are not toxic, and would probably pass through his stools. I havent noticed any in the stool, however im not home all day either. Please advise, about the tailthis JUST happened tonight. |
Have you checked his little butt to see if he has some poop stuck that maybe scaring him. Is eating ok? Keep us posted |
Yes, I would check out his butt area and make sure it's clean. If not, the ears back are an indication he's not feeling well. I would take him to the vet for a check up or maybe an x-ray to see if any of those pearls are lodged somewhere if he does not pass them by the time you get home. Good luck, |
A tucked tail is either shy or not feeling well a happy dog tail is high, If your dog is shaking and acting out of the ordinary I would take it to the vet as soon as you can. |
thank you so much. the vet said that she doesnt think the pearls are an issue, and that often times the xrays wont even show up in the xray. And.....we arnet even sure IF he is the one who ate them. (hes only 2 lbs) this morning, he appears jsut fine now, so I'm not sure what what the issue was last evening. i have a FEELING, he is afraid of our fly swatter. its not the first time that I've picked it up to kill those god awful flies. but mcdreamy goes absolutely bullistic, goes and hides and i just WONDER if his original owner was abusive. this makes me sick!
