can a pup have problems moving its bowls? Not too sure how to tell because mom keeps them so clean but one has a hard stomach and I am not sure if it can have a bowl movement |
I had to read this. I assume you are meaning BOWELS, not bowls. Yes, they can have trouble moving thier bowels, just like people. You can feed them a small amount of canned pumpkin. NOT the pumpkin pie filling with spices. You want plain canned pumpkin. Try giving a couple of teaspoons full. If that doesn't help, then take him to the vet. BTW... Mine can move thier bowls quite easily, especially if they are empty and they are hungry.. lol |
hahaha funny lol, Thanks |
How old is the puppy? Is the puppy crying? |
If this is a two week old puppy I would not give it canned pumpkin. A little karo syrup in water helps with constipation. The puppy might have gas and I have read that some people give the pups Mylicon drops for that. |

Yea he is two weeks, I took him to the vet and he gave him some meds, so I hope he should be fine soon. He said that it is like colic to the dog and is very painful and that is why he was acting the way he was. I told him I am like I was with my babies, taking him to the vet all the time, but I am glad it was just that because I thought it might be respotial Thanks |
Im glad your puppy is doing better and you got him to the vet....Best of Luck... |
