Iam so sorry for your loss. |
I had a Yorki who went limp and passed out. I got her to the Vet immediately . I turned out she had to much blood. The gave her fluids and turned out just fine. Never happened again . |
I lost the cornerstone of my breeding program, my gorgeous, precious little Boss (my avitar!), back in March. He was almost 12 years old. Thank God, my little Angel had a wonderful, happy day, as usual, we all went to bed, and the next morning I found him curled up in his satin bed in a little ball, so peaceful, with such a wonderful, restful, completely peaceful look on his adorable sleeping face....and he was gone from me and Rosehill, to run and play and priss around in his adorable show strut at Rainbow Bridge. His little heart just stopped while he slept, he clearly did not suffer at all as he left us, and he joined the girls from Rosehill that I have lost these last several years. He will keep everyone from the Rosehill Gang together so I can pick all of them up on my way over! |
I am so sorry for your loss, and I wish you had answers so that you felt some closure about the "why" part of it. It does sound an awful lot like a stroke of some kind, and that "fast turning of the head" could've sparked that vessel's vulnerability too. |
I am so sorry for your loss. The unanswered questions make it even harder. :( |
I am sorry for your loss |
RIP Coco Hello, today I lost my Coco..she was 12. She was a teacup yorkie and was playful as ever...very active. Earlier today, I saw her panting like she was choking on something even when not eating. I would massage her throat, gave her water, and a soft small chewy treat. All was fine. She would do the panting on and off, but was still her usual self....acting like my bodyguard following me all around the house. She laid down to take a nap, but noticed when I got up off the couch a few times she didn\'t follow me. That wasn\'t her norm. I called her name a few times, but Coco didn\'t budge. I checked her and she wasn\'t breathing and her eyes were half open with her tongue sticking out of her mouth. I also noticed that her tongue turned black when it was link earlier in the day. I\'m so heartbroken. I don\'t even know what happened to her, but I know she knows she was loved dearly. She brought so much joy to so many people\'s lives. She was truly a blessing to have around. She will be missed. I had to have her cremated today. I\'m so sad. |
I\'m very sorry to hear about the sudden loss of your Jag. |
I am so sorry for your loss and sometimes we never know why our pet had to die. It is like May 16 my parrot was healthy as can be then in a week he just went down hill due to hardening of the intestines. I had a necropsy done to give me some peace but still devastated. I am sending you a hug from my Kinder and I hopefully each day gets better for you. Susan |
