help! my baby is scratching herself raw! We had my little ones clipped today, and they were under the care of someone for a few hours afterward, but when we returned my little one was scratching and could not stop! She has had benadryl and I rushed her to the vet for a shot of steroid, which he said would take about 20 minutes to work, but oh it has not and she is miserable and I am worried sicK! I have bathed her twice! Any comments, would be appreciated! |

That seems like an extreme reaction to a pest spray. What products did they use on your Yorkie? |
My groomer I have used for two yrs., and she uses a hypoallergenic shampoo which is the same one as always she said! I can see a house pesticide doing this more than the groomers products! My little one is resting at last, but her foot is still trying to scratch! I will follow up with vet tomorrow if I don't see improvement for sure! |

This is so odd, and I'm so sorry your baby is suffering! :( |
help with scratching My niece said she sprayed by the fence line with only vinager! The vet said it is hard to know if pesticides could do this! I will only know if I have her clipped again! She had a rough night for sure, but she is resting comfortably today! I feel like it is enviromental for sure! |
Chester gets the itches bad, one time he had a reaction to shampoo and the emer vet told me to wash him in regaular dawn dish soap. The bath did help and I kept rinsing him off in regualar luke warn water. |
