Need help... Again! JUst like to update here that we have found the root to keelys recent problem. She got a bag of treats for christmas that was making her sick. NOt cool. Buuut, heres another problem that i do not think has anything to do with her last problem (MOthers instinct) AHHH, If its not one thing its another! SOmethings wrong with her again! Keely Is acting strange, she wont stay on the floor. When she is on the floor, she puts her tail between her legs and runs to somebody to get up. And i mean RUNS. If she cant find somebody to get up with, she takes of to the couch and curls up in the corner. When she is on the floor and running she is biting at her bum/tail. Im confused. And i figured i would ask here before rushing off to the vet. And my dad is kinda resistant against going to the vet at the moment. its like she is panicking. I dont know what to do? If you have any questions ask, becasue im not sure what other information you need to help us. It looks as though something is causeing her pain in the back half of her And she also looks scared. Could it be her anal glands?? Her bum seems to be a little tucked up in under her. I will try to take a video of it. |
Did you check her bottom? The only time mine do that is when they have poop stuck on their bottom:rolleyes: |
When was the last time you had a stool sample checked? Worms can make a dog act funny about their rear end. You said she had a bag of treats that made her feel sick. Did she have diarrhea? If so, maybe her little tush is tender from that. Has she had a recent hair cut? Sometimes the tush gets razor burnt if the hair gets cut too short and it will be sore. Have you checked to see if she has any poo stuck to her tush? |
Mine only do that when they have poo stuck to their bottoms. Check it out, and if it's not that you may want to take her to the vet. |
I did. No poop. I just exressed her anal glands and on side had a lump. It was right full Of brown fluid .. And she is finee now! I told you guys i was a major worry wart! :p I have to say, expressing her glands was a very interesting and awesome experiance for me:) I want to be a vet really bad. And my mom thought it was impressive that i diagnosed her myself and Im proud of myself. I know i shouldnt say that my girl having problems was fun, but it was a great ( inna way) experiance. |
