I guess my question would be, are you sure your vet knows how to do a bile acids test properly? If she is asymptomatic and Tufts got a normal reading, I would have to question the vet with the odd numbers. Idexx itself is fine. Paired samples around a meal are fine but all the pres and posts should make sense when compared. Honestly, I would go to another vet entirely, have them do a bile acids test sent to Idexx and go with their results. You could just be safe and do the scintography but that is pricey... |

She is hungry. However, now she doesn't want to eat her food. She's been walking around. We should get the biopsy result within 7 days. On the 16th, we take her to get her stitches taken out. She is still on the meds she was taking prior to surgery. I'm so relieved that we were able to get the money for the surgery and it was a good outcome. |
I'm sure she will start eating when she is able to. She is still with the Veterinary Hospital, right? They will make sure she is getting enough sustenance while she is there and give you instructions for when she comes home. She's up and walking around...that's a good sign! Have faith and hang in there! |
