Sneezing & coughing: very annoying
Well, yesturday Shelby woke up sneezing and coughing. He did this all day long about 10-20 times a minute. Today I took him to the vet and she didnt give a definitive diagnosis but did say other dogs have had the same thing. She gave him a shot for his fever and a shot for his sneezing and runny nose and prescribed me Tribrissen 120 mg tablets. I know this is a broad spectrum anibiotic but Im curious what adverse effects maybe to look for? Also has anyones pet been prescribed this medication before or had these same symptoms? Im leaning toward possible respiratory infection or could it be something worse like kennel cough.... |
