NO Emergency (Humping) My 7 month old 3 pound yorkie boy was humping his toys...He got really into it I guess that he would not stop he went at it for like 1 minute..He usually does it for about 15 seconds or so n stops....Once he was done or actually he wasnt cause I took the toy away it was 2 long...He kinda tilted and fell to the said....I got really scared cause I mean I have never had a dog before and just wanted 2 ask if it was normal...I thought he had fainted |
Is he neutered? If not, you should probably get that done before he starts marking or having aggressive behavior or over reacting towards other dogs. This is probably also the cause of the humping. If he is neutered I would just tell him no every time he humps it and when he is playing with the toy correctly tell him good boy! |
no hes not...but i am scared about that procedure...anything that involves surgery or that sort scares me his 2 little Quote:

If you do your research on finding a good vet, he will be fine. Neutering is a very common surgery and if you don't neuter him soon, his behavior might get worse. He will be a calmer and happier dog after the neuter. |

When he's humping, you should tell him no. He is trying to show dominance, and he needs to be corrected. |
