Yorkie tracheal collapse in surgery Looking for some advice. We had our yorkie in for an ACL Patella surgery in an renowned specialty hospital. They aborted the surgery because of tracheal collaspse. Inserted a bigger tube & revived her. About 6 months ago noticed a new cough, which appears when drinking water or excited. She is 11, and a spunky wonderful dog. Now we are learning about the tracheal problem. The Dr will try again citing she can account for this, but suggested we wait and see. Now we feel we have to address this tracheal issue in and of itself. I just can bare to see her hop along. Thoughts or experiences would help. |

I had a younger dog with a collapsed trachea years ago bit now I hear they can do many successful surgies on it. I hope you can get your baby fixed up. |
