My baby had 4 abcessed teeth removed and gums were cut and stitched....She did great at 14.5 yr old, one kidney at 25% functioning(rental failure) with pancreatitis, hypothryroid at the time...It was a life or death decision we had to make for her to overcome getting better....I felt at fault with going 5 yr w/o a cleaning, becasue we were lead to believe that with one kidney she could never go under:mad: WE WERE WRONG!!! Your baby will be fine!!!! Quote:

thanks so nervous :( her bun level and bun/creatinine ratio and globulin were slightly elevated but they think bun and bun/cr were high is due to non fasted blood work and high protein meal before draw and globulins because gum bacteria issues -- i know mine is 4 and never had done dentals :( now i feel horrible |
How old is Ellie May? Poor baby has been through so much... I hope her medical issues can continue to be improved, and the dental problems are not connected are they? I really like her name, it is cute and very girly . I hope the best for your dear sweet one, and that she is feeling better. |

She is 7. Liver issues can lead to bad teeth but they have never been great, so I think it is more of a Yorkie thing. Thankfully with routine care her teeth are fine.:) |
I pray she gets better soon....:( |
She is NORMAL!!! Everything is 100% fine!!!!!:) The platelets went back up to over 200,000 and the Spec cPL is 30. No diet change needed. Finish the Flagyl and get titer results next week.:) Did I mention that everything is NORMAL?:) |
Wonderful news. Does normal means she's perfectly healthy, or just the test results are normal? |

The tests that we just did are normal. She has other issues though... |
YAYAYAYAYAYAY! oh i just KNEW it would be fine! nothing like a little worrying tho eh :) |

I think we are okay if we avoid beef and anything else like it. |

this is great news -- beef is higher in fat and i have read turkey is not good for dogs either so make sure to look into that before feeding :) |
