Some Advice Please..... Alright I have had baby Paris for about a week and two days now...and she is worrying me a lil. Her stool has been Very Moist and greenish lately. We tried another food and that was probably what did it, So we started her back on the food she was on. My question is how long could it take until the other food is completely out of her system and is there anything i can do to make her feel better?????? She is still as playful as can be....but I know her lil tummy is probably hurting... :( Pls Help me Make her feel better... Love Jade & Baby Paris |
It may take a few days, but I would call the Vet and see what he says! It probably is the food switch. Joy, Nikki and Chloe Rose :rose: |
I switch food slowly mixing the new in a little at a time. Thats probably what did it. Keep us posted. |

Jade I am going through this with Jack his is a bit green and very soupy he is also playful, eats and drinks normal, no vomitting( but he is not transitioning to a new home). I am in the processs of switching food because of the diarrhea. He was on Proplan and Royal Canin mixed. Now he is transitioning to California Natural Lamb and Rice for his sensitive tummy. Good luck with Baby Paris. Keep us posted. :) |
Probably was the switch of the food. Try switching the food slowly. If the pup keeps having diarrhea you can give her some nutrical and take her to the vet. Good luck. Please keep us posted. |
Ah poor baby. Get better soon. :( |
When I switched Tatum's food from the one the breeder started her on, I tried to do it very slowly but she was such a toot and would pick out the new pieces only. Because of this, I guess she didn't get the "slow switch" I intended to do. She had tummy problems like yours is having so the vet gave her some medicine. Can't remember what it was now but I think it was a "probiotic"... I think that's the opposite of an "antibiotic". Someone else with more knowledge on it would have to explain it. He also had her eat a prescription food that was real bland until the poops cleared up. Then we tried the slow switch again and it worked. You may want to talk to the vet because you don't want your pup to get dehydrated. Good luck! |
