Gotta take Lucy to the vet...... Lucy has thrown up several times in the past week. It's always been the "foamy" stuff - not food. She threw up last night, and again this morning on my son's bed. I talked to him a short time ago, and he said she's "hacking" like she wants to throw up, but nothing's coming up. He also said she hasn't eaten or had anything to drink today. Not like her AT ALL. I called the vet and am taking her in @ 3:30. She makes me think of a small child when they have a sore throat. Her nose is cool and moist. She's had tonsillitis in the past, and I'm thinking she may have it again. Please pray for my baby. It's not like her to show no interest at all in food. |
Poor Baby! I will be praying little Lucy is OK. Keep us informed. |

i hope she is otay. How old is she!? Did she ingest something she shouldnt have? sometimes throwing up is a sign of a foregin body in the stomach!? :( Good Luck |
Prayers coming out from Utah for little Lucy! Keep us updated. |
Just checking to see how Lucy's vet appointment went and if they found anything wrong. Good thoughts coming your way. |
Thank you all. Lucy has a sore throat. She was checked out from head to toe ( did not like having her temp taken). Our vet said her throat is a little inflamed, and since she's had tonsillitis before, gave her a shot for nausea and an antibiotic. She threw up again in the car on the way home, and in the house once we got back. (she gets carsick, though) I called the vet again and she said it would take a little bit for the anti nausea med to kick in, but to call her before 11:00 tomorrow morning to let her know how she's feeling. She said to be on the safe side, to feed her plain rice this evening and tomorrow then give her a little cottage cheese just in case her stomach still wasn't settled. WHEW, scares me to death! |
