I feel soo bad ! Dont exacly know what happend, i do know i acidenty kicked Rosi last Friday and she was scared to death of me. Also we went to my friends for a playday, usually they go nuts when we first get there and fly of their backdoor steps (3 of them) because there are 2 Jack Russels next door and they love barking at them... anyways i noticed Rosi was once in a while doing a limp, well she would not let me look at her. Next day had my neighbor lady help me and she fought us like a demon.. well she hardly didn limp , just once in a while.. and she didn have a problem running when she wanted to, so i was not too concerned, well yesterday morning when i tried to put her harness on she screamed, she hides from me and looks at me like i just killed her, well as soon as vet opend i called and made appointment. Vet was able to check her foot and leg until she came to the shoulder then she winced. Vet said she couldn realy find any swelling and thought it is a sprained shoulder. She gave her 10 days worth of the antiflammitory Metacam and told me to keep her activitiy down. But guys i feel so bad, she is soo scared of me and gets all nervous when i go near her and has that look like: You hurt me ! Hope she heals quickly ! |
Same thing with Bella I was rolling around on my desk chair and I tipped over and landed on Bella's foot she wasn't hurt but didn't like me for days. Its been months and she still won't come near me while rolling around on chair. LOL:( |
I am so very sorry. Accidents happen. I can't name the times that I have accidentally made little owies on my furbutts. I have stepped on hair while they are lying on the floor, bumped into them while I was walking, and even stepped on toes a few times. Please don't feel guilty, things like that just happen. Rosi will be feeling better and will completely forgive you before you know it - they are very forgiving. |

I am sorry Rosi got hurt. Hopefully she is feeling better soon |
Hi Candy, you poor girl. I am thinking that maybe she isn't upset with you...that she is afraid you will pick her up and it will hurt when you do. I know that when Kirby first hurt his back, he would go under a bed and stay away from people. Maybe it is her way of dealing with the pain. Is she still acting scared after having the medication? I hope she heals quickly and I think once she's feeling better, she'll be back to her old self. Hugs to you and get well wishes to Rosi! |
Accidents happen every day if only we could explain it to them. You have to not feel guilty and give her extra special attention for a day or two. Maybe that will bring her out of her funk. I am sure she's not afraid of you she dosen't understand why she got hurt. Lot's of kisses and treats should do it. I hope so. Buddy is the oppisite. If I accidently back up into him, which I do often because he's under my feet and step on him he yells then jumps up on me for kisses so I can tell him I am sorry. I hope Rosi feels better soon and rewards you once again with puppy kisses. |
