I am so afraid of overdosing so if mine get sick I do give Pepto Bismol but like with Mandy (18lb. schnauzer) I give only a teaspoonn. It usually does the job and sometimes its better to let their tummies rest and give them something to eat the next morning. Something light. Good luck and if the vomiting doesn't stop I would go to the vet. |
I am glad to know that she is fine |
I know exactly how you feel! |
Well guys, I am so sorry to post this but Nutmeg passed around 4pm today it was better for her that way. She went to the vet on Saturday and they gave her 2 different shots and she did good that night, she ate and drank and played and then last night she got bad again so this afternoon my dad and mom took her back to the vet and there was nothing they could do. They are getting her cremated and will have her back sometime next week. This is so hard, this was the first dog I ever had, we got her when I was 10 and she was only 11 years old. Thank you guys for all of your help and encouraging words but she is now waiting for us on the Rainbow Bridge:animal-pa:heart to:sad::rose::rainbow::rainbow::rainbow::rain::rai n::cry8::cry8: |
I am so sorry for your loss. :cry8: |
I am very sorry for the loss of your beloved Nutmeg. I though she was getting better... RIP , sweet Nutmeg . |
I am so sorry, wonder what it died from? RIP Little One. |
Sorry to post here but no one has Quote:
Thanks for information, Tricksie just has diarrhea, what a mess with long hair, might have to get her a puppy cut. My husband and I have also had an upset stomach, must be a virus. Tricksie still has energy, drinks and wants to eat. |
So sorry. I hope she didn\'t eat one of those lizards - they are nasty and taste bad and make a dog really sick! RIP little one. :( |
Sorry for your loss |
Try Colloidal Silver and Aloe Vera When my 5 lb Yorkie was ill last month, throwing up, and diarrhea, I gave her colloidal silver, and aloe vera in her water, and fed her a little cottage cheese. She was eating normally and had normal energy levels, or I would have taken her to the vet. Sometimes they just get into stuff. When they are really small and close to the ground, it\'s hard to tell what they get into when your back is turned. I am a worrier when I get her outside in areas other than her yard, where I know what she will find. You never know who has sprayed or dropped what on the ground. Anyways... I\'m glad she\'s feeling better, and you can keep these things in mind if you ever have this issue again. I always go for the more natural remedies. I worry about drugs especially on such small animals. |
