Yellow vomit Morning. This morning Buster threw up some yellow liquid. We have recently changed his food to Wellness and we have been transitioning for about three weeks. He is acting like his normal self (playing) but he has not touched his food this morning. Last night we thought we heard his stomach growling and put food down for him and he only at a little. I am worried!! He was playful when he got up this morning. I was just wondering if anyone had a clue what this could be? We are on our way to the vet at 9. |
yellow bile Sounds like the yellow bile they will throw up if they have an empty stomach. When Kissy's tummy starts growling, she thinks she is sick and won't eat. I usually give her a little peanut butter and that will get her to licking and she will eat after that. Once they get something in their tummies, the growls and throwing up the yellow bile will go away. |
Yorkies have a tendancy of doing that because the duct is so short. LIke we get heartburn, they do too but their tubes aren't as long as ours. |
It sounds like his tummy was already upset early last night - so I wonder if he ate something he shouldn't have; that would be my guess - esp. with the tummy sounds and then the vomiting, which is the body's way of getting rid of something toxic. It could have been from being too empty - but since he was feeling kind of icky the night before, I'm kind of doubting that... |
