He wants to see him again in 2 weeks and will do more x-rays then to check on the spot that they found inside of him last week. The night that I posted the update saying that Stedman wasn't peeing again, he did end up peeing right before we went to bed. So I am thinking that when I saw him lift his leg and he wasn't going, he was just trying to mark, because he has been peeing fine ever since. As for the belly band, the vet never said anything about it to me. In fact, yesterday when I took Stedman in, I kept the belly band on him because he would have been marking all over the place, and the vet saw him with the band on and never said a single word about it. I don't know how he can not wear it because he is an avid marker and would be lifting his leg all over my house. I don't keep it tight on him and I do change the pads very often, several times a day. However if these can cause a UTI then I don't know what in the world I am going to do. I mean, he HAS to have something to "catch it" when he marks. Sigh....I don't know what to do. I will ask the vet about it when we go back in 2 weeks.

I want to thank you all again for checking on Stedman and being so concerned about him. It really does mean so very much to me. And I apologize if I sound "blah" or down in the dumps, but the truth is, I am. These past few days have been just plain rotten and I feel like I just need to go to sleep for a little while and wake up when all this bad stuff is over. :cry:

I am so sorry about Moses, that is very sad. And your sister..i hope her surgery goes well. I hope the antibiotics work on Stedman, you are going thru a lot, i know it can be very overwhelming. We are here for you, sending all my love and plenty hugs. They don't know yet what the spot could be from the xrays? About the UTI, Teddy also marks, a lot, which makes me want to always keep him in belly bands but after having one on for a day, he gets very uncomfortable i have noticed, and dreads me to put it on. It can cause bladder infections i think, if kept on too long. But if it's not tight and it's changed a lot i guess it's fine. One time i put it too tight on Teddy and didn't even notice, poor thing, when i took it off all his pee basically squirted out. Ever since that i made sure to always change it constantly and use baby wipes in between. Anyway I hope nothing is wrong with little Stedman and that he gets all better soon! Is he acting normal and happy?

Brooke, I'm so sorry to hear your family is going thru so much. It is so difficult to stay positive in times where everything seems to go wrong. Hang in there and we will pray thing get better all the way around.

Let me know what your vet says about the belly bands. I would like to use mine more often and this would be like a second opinion.

I am so so sorry about Moses......we were all hoping for good news for little Stedman and to hear this is just heartbreaking.....I am crying for Moses now and for your family and I'm sure others are feeling your pain .....I will pray God gives you some extra special comfort during this rough time...I know He will turn everything around for you, just give it all to Him.....you are in my prayers....

i am sorry to hear about Moses. I hope ur sister's surgery goes well toooo. im glad stedman was able to pee fine. hopefully the antibiotics will help and he weill be back to his normal self soon. prayers going out to u and remember to stay strong.

So sorry to hear you are having such a rough time. But glad to hear our little stud muffin is doing ok. This all shall pass and there will be sunshine in your life again. The first ray of that you will find with your little Stedy!
