GREEN glob in eye Just before bed (in bed) I picked TJ up from his Daddy's side to bring over to me to go to sleep, and his one eye (that tears more than the other eye) had this big glob of greenish stuff, it was in his eyehair like glue, a big glob of it. So I cleaned his eye with a warm wash cloth and went to sleep. This morning, there is was a tiny greenish glob  What is it? He is 3.5 y/o and he get eye globs, but the are usually clear or like a hazy white...this did have a greenish color to it. Do you think he got something in it eye, or is he sick   |
My 11 year old Pom had that a month or so ago and I took her to the er vet on their advice and they gave me ointment but the next day her eye was fine, I don't know if the medicine worked that fast or if she just had a goopy eye that day. Maybe wash it a few times today and see if it gets better otherwise take him in. Hope it clears up on it's own |
Green is a sign of an infection. He probably has conjuncivitis. The vet will prescribe an ointment. |

The only other thing, which I am off to research is, I just started him on Raw again, so this might be a form of detoxing. I keep everyone posted :( |

I am still shocked over it, one minute he didn't have it and the next it was a huge glob and it got stuck all in his hair....I checked him a few times before leaving this monring, and he did have a small glob and still kinda green in color.. |

Ramsey gets it. I think it's because she rubs her paws over her face and eyes. |
If you clean it off with a wash rag...be sure not to wipe his eyes with the same area of cloth again too. |

Green usually means infection. Are the whites of his eye pink? |

No more GREEN  I am thinking maybe he got something in his eye or scratched it to cause that green stuff. But this morning it was back to the filmy white (normal) TJ eye globs (and small) :p |
