Oh Kim, I am so sorry to hear about your darling tarra... that cast looks so big on her.. I am sending prayers.. I do not read xrays but wanted to send to you that we are thinking of her.. hugs to you and hope you find another good vet..anne |
I am sending prayer's for this dear little Puppy. I hope someone on here can help with the xrays. :aimeeyork |
Sending lots of hugs, prayers and get well wishes to Tarra and Kim. :hands: I am not familiar with animal x-rays, but I work for an orthopedic surgeon and have seen a lot of "human" x-rays. "If" I seen the break in the x-ray, it doesn't look to bad. I do know we all feel that any break is bad for our furbutts, but I bet she will heal very quick and nicely. Again.....sending get well wishes and prayers Tarra and Kims way. xoxoxo, Linda, Moose and Mimi. :animal-pa |
Awww, poor little Tarra. Her cast is cute but looks so uncomfortable. Prayers on their way for a quick recovery. |
AWWW :( Poor Sweet baby she looks so uncomforatble. ((((HUGS)))) Kim take care. |
Poor Tarra, baby. Kim, everything just seems to keep happening for you. It is about time that things start going your way. You have been through enough. We are sending happy thoughts and prayers from north Georgia for a complete and quick recovery. Hope you find the vet in Cleveland to your liking. Although we have never been there it is about 45 minutes from where we live. Get well soon, Tarra, as your mommy needs you to be well again. |
3 Attachment(s) I want to thank everyone, Tarra is still passed out from the drugs, she has a slab fracture of the right lateral humeral epicondyle, they said it was the worse break a dog could have, she is going into surgery tomorrow night, or saturday morning, she has a 50/50 chance it will work, I want to thank all of you for always being there for me, I know I haven't been on alot lately, my world has been upside down since Maggie died, and my mom had surgery last week, she is great, and we have been painting the outside of the house and having a new fence put in, and landscaping, so its been a nightmare to say the least, all of this in the last week and this week, Cindy, Saba(cheeselover) and Deb, thanks for being there when I went a little nuts, Saba thanks from the bottom of my heart for showing up at the ER to be with me, and Cindy thanks for always being there. :( |
My girlfriend\'s Pomeranian just broke her elbow a few months ago and was in a cast. She had to have orthopedic surgery and they put a screw in the bone to hold it together. She came through everything really well. The only thing is that when they took the cast off she had been walking funny and had to have some acupunture and some chiropractic work done on her other joints!! Good Luck to Tarra!! |
Is an orthopaedic surgeon doing the surgery? I know where I live I am fortunate to have every type of specialist within 30 minutes so if at all possible I would get a specialist. You are both in my prayers. |
I just saw the last xray and it looks very similar to my friend\'s dog\'s xrays! I would say just make sure you get a very reputable orthopedic veterinary surgeon. My friend paid $3600 for the surgery but her dog, Shelby has come through it with flying colors!! I wish you luck and send you strength!! |
