just joined!!! need infor... Hi everyone. got puppy the other day. he is doing fine and been running and playing. he is 6 months old. my concern is he wont eat his dry food. this is the food that he always eats. he eat some of it the night he arrives home but then my bf gave him a little parmesan cheese. and then in the morning he wont eat his food. so i gave him a little egg so just to have something in his stomach. any advice what to do so he will eat his dog food? please.... thanks...:questione |
Lol stop feeding him people food. Not even treats and he will eat his food as long as he is healthy but from the sounds of it you have him something new and better to him so he is simply waiting for the good stuff! |

thanks. i will try hot water and chicken broth. but incase he wont still eat?how many hours or day can he be ok if he just keep on drinking water? if i wont give anything just so he will eat his food? |
You may want to try mixing his hard food with a little wet food (premium brand) Keep us posted. |

The idea is to select easily digestible foods such as cooked rice, boneless and skinless chicken or turkey, small bits of string cheese . Dogs love their fruits and veggies, too, so feel free to up their vitamin count with traditional canine favorites like carrots, apples and green beans. Your baby may be a bit more discriminating in the produce department, but some dogs love fresh melon, corn and cookedbroccoli. Why not see if your baby is among this group?;) As a rule of thumb, table food and other treats should make up no more than five to ten percent of your animal companion's daily intake. Should you overdo it, you may find him refusing his regular food, thereby failing to meet his nutritional requirements. My opinion on feeding table food to dogs is evolving. I used to think it was a terrible idea, certain to make dogs sick and/or fat. Now I think there may be a place for lean meats, grains, vegetables, and fruits as perhaps 25% of a dog’s diet, with 75% of the diet being a well-balanced commercial dog food. |
thanks guys!!! everybody is so nice. i am so happy. he eat his food. after i take him out and having fun (chasing me), we went inside the house and then i saw him dived into his food :D he almost got me there... hehehe tnx everyone... |
