Thank you for telling us. Little Mattie was a doll and blessed to have had you for her mommie. I know it hurts unbearably and I pray for both you and your adorable little Mattie.

Brenda, I am so sorry to know of this. I pray for the day you will be able to lay your head down on a pillow in peace. Your sister and Mattie are together now.

Sorry Brenda, I just saw this thread and your previous one. How cruel for the vet to have said this to you!:mad: You were trying to help and I know how badly this hurts your heart! YOU did not kill this little baby! She was very, very ill. When an illness manifests itself and runs it's course so quickly there is nothing you could have done. Please, please don't blame yourself, I have been there 18 years ago and 'til this day it makes me cry to think that the smallest thing I did may have contributed to his death. Don't do that to yourself. Just remember how much you did love her and the good times you had together. She is in heaven romping with all of the previously, loved so much it hurts, babies. Love yourself and keep her love in your heart not your regret, from someone who has been there on too many occasions. Lupie, Bratwurst, Annie, Ace Morgan and Sage will watch out for Mattie until she gets her legs under her - Trust me!

Brenda...I am so sorry to hear that you lost your precious Mattie. I have been thinking of you all day and had to check to see how she was doing. I wish iI could blink my eyes and you wake up and her be there! thats so sad. i lost my maltie poo in january and i cry every day! they are chldren to you and i dont think no one could ever understand unless they have been there. if you pm me ill give you my cell and you can cry to me all you want any time i understand! Brenda - - it's the wee small hours of the morning, and I pray that you are finally getting some rest...

I hope you don't mind my posting this little memorial of your beautiful Mattie... I have held her close to my heart since my baby Natalie first fell ill and we "met" the two of you.

We used to joke around here with Natalie about how Mattie was our Yorkie Pink Power Ranger!!! So strong and healthy... the perfect picture of how Nattie would be when she finally got well...

My heart is breaking with you... for the loss of your precious girl... and I feel a little guilty that I am mourning the loss of my Natalie all over again... with all that you are going through - losing your sister AND your baby... :cry8:

Though I'm certain I have enough tears for all of us! I just wish I knew how better to comfort you...

I know the words don't ease the overwhelming saddness in your soul right now, but can you imagine never having loved her?? What a gift you've been given to have shared the life of this tiny treasure... cherish that... and smile...

I know that Mattie was a very special "daddy's girl" in the heart of your husband as well...

May you both find some peace in the days to come... :hands:

I'm so sorry that you lost your precious little angel. My heart goes out to you. Please don't blame yourself. We do what we can for our little ones and you were doing what you could to help her because you loved her so much. Please don't ever think that it was your fault that she died. I'm sure it wasn't.
